Exotic on paper is an art project about reptiles and amphibians. These fascinating animals are living fossils and our knowledge about them is still on a low level. The problem of these colourfull creatures is the evanescence of their habitats. Reason of that is like in any other cases the human. Reptiles but inspecially amphibians are very strict and close linked to their environment. If only some little factores get changed, it's possible that a whole species disappears.
Another reason why I chose this topic is the grown up popularity of these animals in private keeping. More and more people want to have a part of the nature at home. Only a part of them are very good informed and keep these creatures with passion and know how. A big mass of reptiles and amphibians die every year because of wrong keeping.
Exotic on paper should show the beauteousness of this fabulous animals, not in a glass terrarium but on paper.
